This wine is made partially through the process the French call "Sanguine," which means "to bleed." This rose color is achieved by removing the juice from Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes after approximately 24 hours of soaking with the skin, which imparts a hint of color and bright fruit aromas. Best served chilled and in its youth.
